Candidates for St. Philip North

Michael Lashley - DLP
Michael Lashley must be one of the busiest lawyers in Barbados. You can't turn to the court pages in the dailies without seeing his name mentioned as the legal representative for someone. Whether he will remain the representative for the people of St. Philip North on January 16 is anyone's guess, although I expect him to retain his seat. He better watch out for the 'silver fox', though.

George Griffith - BLP
A big part of politics is public relations, and George Griffith is a veteran at projecting a positive public image. The reproductive health expert and former Consul-General to New York may present Michael Lashley with his toughest challenge yet. This should be an interesting contest to watch.
