Benazir Bhutto assassinated

Hi, peoples, hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. Unfortunately I'm back on a tragic note, because as most of you must have heard, former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated this morning in a bomb blast in Rawalpindi.

The bomb was exploded by a suicide bomber and claimed the lives of at lease 20 other persons who were attending a campaign rally held by Bhutto. Click here to get the full details.

I wonder what implications this tragic act will have for upcoming elections in Pakistan, as well as for the relations between the United States and the nuclear-armed nation. Sad indeed.

Assassination

All the world should be sad
Such horror in Islamabad
Shooting with intent to assassinate
A barbaric attack on a Presidential Candidate
Streets were in a violent unrest
Shocked citizens in aggressive protest
It was fatally played out again
Now from a more accurate assassin
An offload of bullets pierced neck and chest
To put Benazir Bhutto’s to a early final rest
Every free world nation should abhor this heinous tragedy
Dangerous terrorists threatening Democracy
