Final Poll results

Our first poll is now closed, and in the end, 62% of voters thought that the Party Monarch should have been halted in light of the tragic accident in Joe's River, and 37% thought the should show should have continued. I'm sure discussion on this matter will continue for a while.

For this week's poll, I'm taking the focus a little wider to our neighbouring island of St. Vincent. I read a few days ago that St. Vincent's Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, has appointed his son, 35 year-old Camillo Gonsalves as the Ambassador to the United Nations. Remember when Trinidadian PM Patrick Manning appointed his wife Education Minister?

This week's poll question is: Should the immediate relatives of leaders of Government be appointed to government posts?

The vote buttons are in the sidebar.
